All the couriers weigh and measure the packages after they have picked them up. If this data (which is verified by the logistics company's system) differs from the data marked on the labels, they will report about it and the weight (and rate) adjustments will be done.

In any case, if you are sure that the courier has not entered the correct weight, you have the possibility to open a claim. Note that the claim can be made only when the weight differs significantly. If you have weighted the package and its 0,9 kg but the courier has forwarded us data that it is 1,5kg, you will not be able to open the claim since in those cases the couriers will not consider the claim.

However, if in the same case mentioned above, the courier says that the shipment weighs 5.5 kg, Outvio will allow you to open a claim since the weight difference is significant and we can ask them to investigate if there has been an error. In this case, they proceed to pay the difference in rate.
