How to cancel a shipment?

STEP 1. Go to your Tracking tab and find the shipment you want to cancel.

STEP 2. Open the shipment and cancel it.

Open the 'More' menu (with 3 vertical dots) and click "Cancel shipment".

A small confirmation window will open and ask to confirm if you really wish to cancel the shipment. Once you confirm the cancellation, the shipment will be cancelled and the order will be returned to your Shipping Queue tab. You will not be charged for a cancelled shipment.

IMPORTANT:

  • Cancellation is an irreversible action. If you need to ship out the same order later on, you will need to create a new shipment and print a new shipping label for it.

  • It is only possible to cancel a shipment that has not been picked up and/or marked as picked up by the courier. Once marked as picked up by the courier, the shipment can not be cancelled and Outvio will not reimburse the associated shipping costs. Because of this, it is important to cancel any shipment before the courier passes by.

  • If you shipped the order using any of the Outvio pre-configured couriers and rates, when you cancel a shipment, you will be reimbursed the shipping costs as credit in your Outvio account. You can check it immediately in the Invoicing Data section.

  • Please note that if you cancel a shipment made with your own couriers and rates, the label fee is not reimbursed.
