Processing orders with Outvio is extremely easy and fast. Don't panic if the first time you read this tutorial it seems like a long process. Here we will explain all the options available to you when creating your shipments. Once you understand the process, orders are processed, on average, in less than 8 seconds!

STEP 1. Go to the Shipping Queue.

All the orders you have previously selected to be packed appear here, ready to be shipped. If you use the option to generate Picking Lists, they will appear here after you have picked them.

STEP 2. Open the first order in the list.

By default, your main warehouse will be selected, but you can also manually select the warehouse the order should be picked up from. If you have only one warehouse, you can skip this step.

STEP 3. Pack your parcels.

To do this, select the products that are supposed to go in the same package, and click "Close Package". They are packed in your default package, but you can select any of the other packages you have available.

If you need the order to go in two or more parcels, click unpack and pack the products accordingly. Choose a package size or enter specific measurements for that package. Please find more information on how to change the default package size or add a new package size HERE.

When all the products are packed, the shipping price is calculated and you will see the courier it will be shipped with. If you want to change the courier and shipping method, click on the pencil. You will be presented with a list of available couriers and shipping methods in your account:

Once a new courier is selected, the rate is recalculated and the logo of that courier will appear below the button to print the shipping label.

Please note:

If the selected courier does not have a rate available for the shipping destination, a message will appear and you will not be able to select it.

Before shipping, you can also select whether you want to insure the shipment. To do this, simply select the corresponding button and your shipment will be insured automatically. The price of the insurance will be displayed immediately.

At this point of the process, you also have the option to cancel the shipment by clicking on the three dots on the right. The order will be straight sent back to the orders tab and you can edit the order if necessary. More information about cancelling a shipment you can find HERE.

If you only want to make some changes to the delivery address, you can do so by clicking on the pencil. For further changes such as HS-Code or Payment data, you have to cancel the shipment first, and edit the order in the orders tab.

Please note:

If you make any changes in your CMS, the changes won't apply to the shipment if it is in the Shipping Queue. The order must be sent back to the orders tab by cancelling the shipment first.

STEP 4. Print the shipping labels.

Once you have all your products in parcels, click "Print label and ship". Outvio connects with the selected courier and the shipping label (or labels) will appear for printing.

All that's left is to attach the labels to the packages, and that's it! You can move on to processing the next shipment.
