The pickup time

Outvio sends the pickup request automatically once you have printed the shipping label. If the courier does not show up, it is not the application's problem, it is 100% of the courier.

If the first order of the day is placed before the cut-off time of your warehouse (which depends on the postcode from which you send and the courier), the courier should show up on the same day (or the next business day if the current day is a holiday). If they do not show up, it will be best to request a new pickup from the Dashboard in Outvio.

Correos

With Correos, keep in mind that:

  • If you process an order before 14:00, the pickup will always be for the next business day.

  • If you process an order after 14:00, the pickup will be for the day after the next business day (in 2 business days).

  • If you are on the subscription plan or the 2-week-trial GROW plan (when you signup) and you want the courier to come to your warehouse to pick up packages you processed with Correos, you will need to request a pickup manually from the Dashboard since Outvio does NOT automatically request a pickup when you process shipments.

Pickup Time in Outvio

IMPORTANT!

Outvio cannot guarantee that the courier will always show up within the requested time slot since lately this depends on the courier.

By default, Outvio requests a pickup as late as possible to give you enough time to process the largest number of orders (you can see the pickup times in the Dashboard under the "Recent/Current Courier Pickups" section). If your warehouse closes at a certain time or the default pickup time is not convenient for you, please contact us (indicating the desired time slot), and we can modify the pickup slot (as long as it is possible for the courier). If you ship with your own couriers/contracts (Nacex, GLS, etc.), you must contact the carrier directly to agree on the pick-up time.

EXAMPLE: Correos Express has a cut-off time of 18:00, but since we must give a minimum of 2 hours, then Outvio sets by default from 16:00 to 18:00. However, if these times are not convenient for you because your warehouse closes at 16:00, then we can change your pickup time from 13:00 to 15:00, for example.
