Map your shipping methods

You can automate the courier selection regardless of the plan you are using in Outvio. You can set the couriers you want to use by mapping them correctly in the Integrations section.

NB! You cant select Correos Nacional Oficina Standard or Zeleris Economy as a default shipping method since in most cases these methods are unlikely to be preferred when it comes to shipping. Although Outvio always offers the best price possible, in this case, if you really want to ship with Correos Nacional Oficina Standard or Zeleris Economy, you need to select these shipping methods manually from the couriers' drop-down menu in the Shipping queue.

STEP 1. Open the settings menu.

You can access the setting menu by clicking the top right-hand logo of your online shop in your Outvio account.

STEP 2. Choose Integrations from the dropdown menu.

STEP 3. Click on the selected integration and map your shipping methods.

Open the integration with your CMS in Outvio, and match the shipping methods you offer in your online shop with the ones which are available in Outvio. As a result, when the orders appear in Outvio, the courier is selected automatically based on the mapping preferences.

Let us have a look at an example:

Let's say that you have just integrated your Shopify shop with Outvio and want to set up Correos Express Express as the default shipment method. For that, you need to go to the Integrations section, open the Shopify integration, and do the mapping.

First, you choose "Correos Express (Outvio) - express" under the field of "Your available shipping methods in Outvio".

Second, you need to write in the field of "Your Shopify shipping method" the shipping method in the exact form you have set it up in Shopify. Therefore, if in Shopify the method is set up as Envío Estándar (1-3 Días Laborables), you have to enter it exactly the same way with brackets in the field of "Your Shopify shipping method". The easy way to check the shipping methods name is to go to the Orders tab and open one of the Shopify orders and see how is the shipping method inserted.

Finally you click on the "Save" button and that's it, the mapping has been done correctly. You can repeat the process for as many shipping methods as you have in your online store. In the same way, you can map multiple couriers and shipping methods simultaneously, meaning that for one shipping method you can assign different couriers if needed. If you do that, Outvio will choose the most economical courier assigned to that shipping method.

For example, if in the previous case we had mapped "Correos Express (Outvio) - Express" and "Zeleris (Outvio) - Zeleris Día Siguiente" with the shipping method "Standard Shipping (1-3 Business Days), then when an order enters Outvio, it will assign the cheapest courier between those two (Correos Express, Zeleris), for the destination, weight, and volume of that particular shipment.

NB! If you use Outvio but have not configured your shipping rules or mapped the shipping methods in your CMS with the couriers that are available in Outvio, Outvio will select the cheapest courier and shipping method from among the available ones in your account for that destination, but in that case, it does not consider the rate of Correos Nacional Oficina Standard, Correos Nacional Domicilio Standard and Zeleris Economy (since most online stores prefer to ship by default with other shipping methods ).

Therefore, if you want Outvio to choose any of the previously mentioned methods, you must map them in the integration with your CMS, or choose them manually before printing the shipping label in the Shipping Queue.
