In Outvio you have a few ways to create or import orders. If your online shop is using a CMS, we suggest you go to the Integrations section in your Outvio account to connect your store with Outvio following these steps

However, you also have the option to upload your orders from an Excel file. It is a simple process and in this article we will show you how you can do it.

Go to the Orders tab and click on "Upload Excel"

A pop-up with a description and a sample file will appear.

Download this Sample File

Inside this sample file you will find some examples of orders that will help you to complete the file. Just replace the examples with those from your own orders.

Upload the Excel file to Outvio

Once you have completed the file with your order details, save it and then return to Outvio.

To upload, click on the "+" symbol, select the file and then click on "Upload".

After you have uploaded the Excel file, your orders will appear in the Orders tab with the Source "XLS".

Note: In case you are missing any information about your orders the system will indicate this with different coloured flags in the Status column. More information about Status flags you can find HERE.

Please keep in mind ☝️

If you upload your orders in Excel or create them manually, there are a few things to keep in mind:

  • Default Branding

In Branding > General Brand Details

If you upload your orders in Excel, we recommend that you assign the default branding to these orders so that when you upload them in Excel, Outvio automatically associates them with this brand.

  • Default Notifications to your clients

    In Branding > Notifications

If you want to send default notifications to customers through Outvio and you use Excel, we suggest you check the option " Based on the destination country", because if you check the second option, when uploading orders in Excel, the Outvio platform will not receive the information of the language in which the customer placed the order from the web, so in that case it will send the notifications in the default language (English).
