How to process orders that will be picked up from your shop

If you offer your clients the possibility of picking their order in your store, you can easily set this up in Outvio.

In this article, we will explain how to do this:

STEP 1. Configure Internal Courier.

First, you will need to set up your Internal Courier in My Couriers section.

You will need to give your Internal Courier a name, which will be shown to your clients as the courier name, and assign warehouses. Don't forget to click on "Save" when you're done.

STEP 2. Process order in Shipping Queue.

Once everything is set, you can process the order in the Shipping Queue. If the order comes in via your CMS and you have mapped this inside the integration, the Internal courier will be automatically assigned. Alternatively, you can manually do this by clicking the pencil icon and selecting "Internal Courier".

By clicking on "Print label and ship" you will be able to download the label in ZPL or PDF format, depending what you have configured in your Shop Settings.

The label will look something like this:

STEP 3. Finish order process.

Once the order is ready to be picked up in your shop, you can mark the corresponding button "Order ready for pickup".

When then customer has picked up the package, you can click "Close and set delivered".

IMPORTANT:

In order for your customer to be up-to-date and get notified when the order is ready to be picked up, we recommend to configure notification emails accordingly. You can do so in the Branding section.
