How to add the HS code to the product manually in Outvio?

When shipping outside the EU, it is mandatory to add the HS code to the products.

The HS code is an international standard that identifies the type of product you are shipping in all customs around the world. This code will be added to the sales invoice that Outvio automatically generates on your non-EU shipments so that your international shipments are not held up (and therefore delayed).

STEP 1. Select your order in the Orders tab and edit it.

If you manually create your orders and it is for a shipment to a destination outside the EU, Outvio will automatically set a red flag indicating that your product's HS code is missing. For more information on flags, click HERE.

If you click on the pencil, you will be able to edit the order. By clicking on the product (on the 3 dots and then on the pencil), you will be able to see the available fields.

STEP 2: Select the HS Code.

In the "HS Code" field a list of codes will be displayed, and there you simply select the one that corresponds to your product.

Once you have selected it, click on "Save" and then save all the changes made to the product.

You are done!
