To connect your courier, go to Settings -> My couriers and select the courier you have a contract with:

Follow through each section to set up your contract with a courier:

Webservice credentials

Reach out to your courier's account manager and request the credentials to connect to their webservice. They usually differ from the ones you use to access your account. Once you have them, add in Outvio 👇

Shipping methods

Here you activate the shipping methods you use with your courier:

Optional: upload your rates you have with the courier - that way you can compare the shipping prices within the couriers and see the rate for the shipment.

Click HERE to see how to fill in the shipping rates file.

Courier settings

In this section you can enable the automatic pick-up for the courier - it will be generated once a shipment is processed for the selected courier.

❗️Please note that if the toggle cannot be moved, the courier doesn't support automatic pick-ups. You have to arrange the pick-up time with the courier.

Other settings have the option to choose to show Order ID instead of OTN as a shipment reference. If you toggle this setting, the shipping labels will start showing the order ID.

In case your courier supports DDP, DAP shipping, or other additional services, you will find them under Other Settings as well.

You may also choose to set an alias for the courier under Alias settings if you have multiple contracts with the same one.

Assigned warehouses

Assign/remove the warehouses you wish to use for the courier:

Surcharges

In this section, the following options can be applied for all shipping methods or set separately for each for the selected courier:

  • Rate calculation

  • Cash on delivery

  • Insurance

  • Remote zone

  • Weight surcharge

  • Dimensions surcharge

  • Export duties

  • Fuel surcharge

These surcharges depend on your courier and you can add them based on your agreed terms with the courier. That way Outvio will apply most of them for rate calculation so that the system can decide which courier is the cheapest option for you.

❗️Things to note

  • For 100% accuracy, you need to upload your shipping rates in the Shipping methods section

  • It is your responsibility to add the surcharges correctly, as well as update them if necessary if they change over time.

  • Fill out only those surcharges that apply to your contract.

If you have gone through all the steps and activated the courier - well done! If you have multiple couriers, repeat the steps for each of them.

In the courier overview you can see the active/inactive couriers for each country and enable/disable them if necessary:
